Blessed by persecution
In the book of Daniel we read about King Nebuchadnezzar and how he built a gold statue and passed a law that every one had to bow down before it when they heard the music. But Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego would not bow before an idol. They were willing to die before they would disobey the word of God by bowing before an idol.
Because they were willing to die for their beliefs, they brought glory to the true God, and were rewarded for their convictions.
Dan 3:29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
Dan 3:30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.
There are several other stories in which those that are willing to die for their beliefs bring glory to the true God and are rewarded here are a few, Esther, Mordecai and Daniel.
Before one can glorify God to other and be rewarded for standing strong upon their beliefs, they have to first be tested. See the persecution your going through today as a potential for you to bring glory to the Lord and to be rewarded.
Mat_5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

I had a row with my sister about Christ because she converted to Judaism and is an unbeliever and boy did it get rough…….I was so upset and so was she. It bothers me that some of the people closest too me are like that……..just shouldn’t be that way.
First of all let me address the other comment. We need to never get in an argument about Religion, because what it does is causes them to draw further away from the Messiah. What we need to do is pray for her. Even if she stays in Judaism she can be come a Messianic.
What we need to have Bro. Lewis, is boldness like Daniel. When we look at what happened too him we stand or would we crumble and fall? This was very good Bro. Lewis. Bro. Doc

@BroDoc -
~*Agree*~… Someone who doesn’t believe in God or hates God for past experiences are no more going to take away from my faith using science/logic than I’m going to be able to drag them to an alter. Best thing is to back way, talk to God, and ask they be given what is needed from life to draw them into God in their walk
@alterb4ego - It is hard for them to understand that it is out of love one tries so hard to share the truth with another. I have found this proverb is very true;
Pro_27:7 The full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet. Perhaps that is why the word tells us to feed the hungry, the full will spit it back at us.
@BroDoc - Thanks Bro Doc, and I agree completly with what you said. If we argue with another at times they will get so mad they wont change their mind just out of spite.
@Growedup - Thank you Bev!!
@Lewis1122 - One thing I have learn Bro. Lewis, in 36 years of Ministry, that to argue with someone about how they believe is not good. If they will not listen too you without arguing, then we need to wipe the dust off our feet, and go to prayer for them and let Yahvah do the rest. He is much better at changing hearts then we are. So I will defer to Him in prayer when they decided to stop listening to what I have to say through Scripture. Bro. Doc
