God in public places
We hear often how God is being removed out of schools and government buildings and so on. But perhaps we have forgotten God is not in the buildings of stone or in the plaques or words. God is within his believers hearts he is anywhere they are. Perhaps the reason God is being removed from those public places is because believers are not in those places? In the book of Amos it warns that at the end there shall be a great famine, not of food and water but of hearing the Word of God. We know that without hearing of the word there is no faith, and without faith there is no pleasing God.
If we want God back in those public places we must first begin by getting God back into our hearts.
Rev_3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Amo_8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
Rom_10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Heb_11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Perhaps instead blaming the failures of upon our government allowing God to be removed out of public places, we should point first at our self?

Out of the people who identify themselves as Christians, only about 25% of them believe the Bible is the infallible word of God and take it literally......which should tell you how many there are who really are christians vs. how many there are who just identify with a church or a family tradition......and of those who really are christians, they do take the Lord with them everywhere they go.......they are his eyes and ears on the earth. I know some might say God sees everything, and I believe this is true, but then I remember he also sent angels to see if Sodom and Gahmmorrah was as bad as he heard.
@alterb4ego - Sadly I agree Crystal, the light of Christianity is very dim. We are called to show Christ to the darkned world and we can see that the word tells us it requires true dedication to the word and a life change. That is an interesting point, those are the questions which cause people to seek an answer, well down! Perhaps before judgment the witness aganst you has to come? Like the prophets or Jesus or the final two prophets, as Jonah a witness comes first to let you know destruction is coming?

IF Yahvah only lived in buildings we are in trouble. Then that would make Scripture be wrong. And We know that Scripture is not wrong, but man that is wrong. This is very good Bro. Lewis, thank you for posting it. Bro. Doc
