Granny, get a job
Politicians are continually complaining about social security because of our financial crisis, I wonder where all the money went.
First the Government Accountability Office found that more than $500 billion in Afghanistan war spending would be squandered without a long-term financial commitment from the United States. Then the United States Agency for International Development announced it was shuttering aid projects that ate up millions of tax dollars with no results.
The Taliban could be using U.S. tax dollars to kill American soldiers. The U.S. military has estimated that up to $360 million ended up in the hands of Taliban and criminal elements in Afghanistan over the past decade, according to a 2012 Associated Press report

Spending on defense is less than 10% of GDP. Obama and the Democrats have taken government spending to 25% of GDP. Oil companies only make $.03 per gallon of gas while the federal government makes a whopping $.30.
Misdirection!! Blame the poor and needy the elderly long enough and the population will blame them also. Perhaps the biggest problem is the waste in government spending and the giving to countries which hate us. Keep creating enemies by supplying one side then the other with weapons and more tax dollars is needed on military spending.
@ImNotUglyIJustNeedLove - Correct Bro Billy, and we spend more on military than any other country in the world. Perhaps if we wouldn’t have gone to an unnecessary war in Iraq we wouldn’t now be spending so much money? But as always government propaganda was believed and off we went to a war which estimated cost of a trillion dollars. If we wouldn’t have bailed out the banksters and Wall Street we wouldn’t be so in debt to China.
Here’s something new….Elderly will now be charged more for medicare….In other words, they will pay more for their Dr.’s/Hospital Bills, before medicare kicks in now….They give a limit, $85,000 for single Elderly, and $175,000 for married, but….We all know, if any part of medicare is touched, we all end up paying through the nose…..Medicare is supposed to pay 80% now…But, that’s not always the case….
@ellie1945 - Like letting Satan in just a little, he moves right in all the way.
