Just believe
Psa 91:9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
Mar_9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
Joh_14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
As believers we CAN’T loose, even during times of trials there are blessings within if we are willing to believe the word of God. Imagine the most horrible punishment and execution, and yet through it the greatest gift is bestowed upon man, salvation. In your darkest hour look up and give God glory for the blessing is about to follow, just believe.
Rom_8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

@alterb4ego - Thank you Crystal! The more we accept those promises the easier trials are to face, because eventually we no longer see them as trials but as ways to be blessed.
There is one other thing we have to do besides just believe Bro. Lewis. We have to have faith, because without Faith, we can not believe. They go hand in hand together. Bro. Doc

@ellie1945 - Amen Ellie, without faith there is no foundation, it is simply a wish or dream. Like Santa Claus to children is believed in, but belief without the faith does not make it real but only to the believers mind.

I agree Bro Doc; I believe the following verses describe building belief not based upon faith, but on false hope. Eze_13:10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter: 11 Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it. 14 So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 15 Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;
Faith is a saving Grace. We can’t even hold onto faith without the help of the Spirit.
I’ll have a post (in the AM tomorrow 2/26) that may make this clear for even non-beleivers.
