Persistent
God is a rewarder of those that don’t let their situations hinder them, but are persistent.
We read how Zacchaeus being short climbed a tree to view Jesus, and Jesus rewarded his persistence by abiding at his house. Luke 19:2-5
We also read how the crowd was so thick there was no way to get the man sick with palsy to Jesus, but they didn’t give up. They cut a hole in the roof and lowered the man down in a bed, and Jesus healed him. Mark 2:2-5
We read how when blind Bartimaeus heard Jesus was coming by called out, and when many charged him to hold his peace he cried out the more. Mark 10:46-49
We read how the widow woman persisted in her need of the king to avenge her in a parable Jesus told, and how her persistence was paid off. Luke 8:1-8
Never give up, persistence is rewarded!!

Amen Lewis…Persistence is standing firm and never giving up…..
Good morning! Yes, persistance does pay off.
@ellie1945 - Amen Ellie, persistence is rewarded, the word tells us to stand strong/resist the devil and he will flee from us.
@alterb4ego - Amen it sure does, thank you for the visit and the comment they are appreciated.
We need to stand firm on the word, no matter how unpopular it might be. Bro Lewis. IF we do not stand firm on the Word, we will fall. Bro. Doc
@BroDoc - I strongly agree, the word tells us the world will love its own, but those that do live what they believe will be very unpopular. Thank you!
@Lewis1122 - The devil doesn’t exist either, so you flee from your own imaginings.
Yahvah and the devil to exist. Very plain and very simple.
If it was not for the devil we would not be in the mess we are in today. Bro. Doc
oh, this is timely… as I try to urge myself on in personal goals… keep up these great reminders!
I love the story of Zacchaeus!
@Sisterinchrst - Thank you Jes. It is great knowing as we are persistent in our personal goes that God WILL reward our persistence, and we have proof from the word to stand upon.
@Gabriel333 - I also enjoy the story, it gives us hope in knowing that our weaknesses are over come by God through our persistence. Thank you!
@ellie1945 - I agree… along with “do it afraid”
