  • Blame the other

Blame the other and you will never have to repent. There is no salvation without first repentance.

Mar_6:12 And they went out, and preached that men should repent.

Luk_13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

When God asked Adam and Eve if they had been disobedient, did they repent? No, on the contrary they blamed some one else for their disobedience.

Gen 3:12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

Gen 3:13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

We know what happed next; they were removed from the Garden of Eden and God’s presence.

    Is self justification worth it?

  • BUT, Bro. Lewis, we will be accountable in the end. So it is good that we repent. Bro. Doc

  • No, self-justication isn't worth it, but to repent and be at peace.  :)

  • Amen Liz!! Even Adam and Eve had a chance to repent, but instead they blamed the other. In this life and the next our sins will affect us.

  • @BroDoc - Agreed without repentance there is no forgiveness, self justification wont protect us. Sins will hurt us now and at judgment, as we can see Adam and Eve got the boot because they remained unrepentant.

    Thank you
