  • “If we live each day ridding ourselves of the small faults in our life, when age of life is well upon us, we will discover that there was never a big fault to overcome. The huge oak starts from one small acorn”.

  • Amen!  So very true!!

  • Thanks Ellie! We have to gradually remove our conscience, so it is by those little steps we get deeper into greater problems.

  • Each fault we find and pick at, chips away pieces of our character.

    Encouragement is SO needed...isn't it?

  • @Sisterinchrst - Agreed Jes, just like carving wood every little cut creates what it is intended to be. Unlike wood we get our self confussed in accepting we are designed to be what we are, and fight trying not to be what we are being carved into. When we embrace and truly believe ALL things work together for our good... we will embrace all those cuts. The greatest example is what Jesus went through, all the suffering he went through was for the greatest purpose. I still believe even Jesus was praised when God spoke this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.
